I am of Maori & European descent from Aotearoa (New Zealand).

My Art

I work with natural resources such as stone, jade, bone and wood in a semi traditional, semi contemporary blend.

We Maori are a highly spiritual people who honour & respect Papatuanuku our earth mother and her resources.

Therefore strict adherence to ancient Maori Tikanga (protocols) help to ensure the spiritual safety of this resource, the artist and the intended owner.

My Healing

I have been a practitioner of Traditional Maori Healing for more than 5 years.

For 3 of those years I studied with the late Papa 'Hohepa De La Mere' a world reknown Tohunga from the east coast of Aotearoa (NZ).

For the past 2 yrs I have been part of a Traditional Maori Healing Clinic in the city of Auckland.

My Maori Affiliations

Te taha ki toku matua ki Omanaia me Aotea Motu. Ko Ngaphui me Ngati Wai oku iwi.

Te taha ki toku Whaea ki Waikato. Ko Ngati Mahuta, me Ngati Te Ata oku Iwi

My Father is from the far north and Great Barrier Island of NZ. His affiliation is to Ngapuhi and Ngati Wai.

My Mother is from the Waikato region nearly central North Island of NZ . Her affiliation is to Ngati Mahuta and Ngati Te Ata.
